Suavv: So how long have you been a model?
As of 2009, I have been modeling for 5 years.
S: Can you remember when you wanted to start? How did that
happen?
M: I’ve always loved art, fashion, film, and writing growing up, thanks to
my mother who loved to shop; and my sister, who loved to draw. I started
drawing and writing short stories/poems/novels as soon as I learned how
to hold a pencil. I would often create sketches of beautiful women that I
hoped to look like when I grew up, among other things. My career
started off with a test shoot with a photographer that a friend of mine
hooked me up with. I posted those images online, and from then on I was
a model-booking numerous photo shoots which eventually led me to
actual work. Music videos, indie films, CD covers, and websites, to name
a few.
S: Who have you modeled for so far?
M: Wow…it’s difficult for me to recall everyone because I have a terrible
memory…but if you are one of my photographers or someone I’ve
worked with that I forgot to mention, I apologize in advance. I am
currently working with Dwayne Darden who owns Summerbunnies. I’ve
also worked with Bobby G who owns The Intimate Look, I’ve done
fashion shows for numerous boutiques around Houston and also Roc
The Runway (an annual benefit fashion show sponsored by Baby Phat
and Rocawear) run by Tigga Pat Productions, Starlett-TV.com, Stare
Magazine, Assets Magazine, Deep Entertainment’s various projects,
South Park Mexican, Yin Yang Twins, Mike Jones, SexyandSafe.com,
and the list goes on…
S: What will you never model?
M: Artistic Nude/Fine art is as far as I would go. Anything pornographic is
unacceptable. Unfortunately there is a fine line between fine art and
porn, so you have to be very careful.
